Powermaster 8102 Alternator to Big Block Kit

This kit contains the mounting brackets, spacers and bolts necessary to adapt a Powermaster 8102 alternator to any B or RB Chrysler motor. The kit contains three aluminum spacers, upper and lower mounting brackets and the three mounting bolts. This kit works with any pulley set that has the deep water pump pulley (non-AC setup) shown in the picture. A fan belt such as Gates #7445 will work on a 440 with stock size pulleys. Gates #7445 is 25/64 x 45 1/8 long.
Mount the kit as shown with the alternator hanging from the 6-inch bolt. The 4.25-inch bolt goes through the water pump housing. The long spacer mounts behind the alternator while the short spacer is in front of it. The medium length spacer mounts between the two brackets on the 4.25-inch length bolt. The picture shows unit mounted on a 440. For a 383 or 400, the 6 inch bolt will go into the lower hole on the triangular bracket.
The Powermaster alternator has an internal regulator so you must remove the stock voltage regulator from operation and run a 12 volt ignition switched supply wire directly to the alternator.
